Ask What makes you happy, rather than What do you do in life.

Instead of asking ‘what do you’, ask ‘what is something that makes you happy.’

The single most important factor that helps us to live, is our state of being. Life is a journey of ups and down but what makes the journey worthwhile is the state of being your authentic self, in each moment of that journey.

It’s the determining factor for success or failure, achievement or dissatisfaction, lack or abundance at each stage of your life.

What is it that matters to us?

Take your time with this question. Reflect on your day, your week, your month, your year, and your life. Revisit those moments that made you feel grateful to be alive.

Revisit the moment where you felt whole, in total alignment with your direction in life, even if it was for a few minutes.

Reflect back on those times, when you loved where you were, all you wanted to do was celebrate life and share your joy with everyone around you in your unique way.

Did you get an answer then?

Does it surprise you, why is it that we have a handful of these grateful, abundant, joyful, and peaceful moments in our lives?

Why doesn’t our current path in life reflect the harmonious flow of life always? Furthermore, our current state is aligned with discontent rather than content. We have to look back onto the beautiful memories that made us genuinely happy, to hold onto them, to make us remind that maybe beauty still exists.

Maybe we can be happy, once again. Maybe, we can dance in each moment of life.

Our current state feels a worn-out phase. It’s like an ongoing struggle rather than an exciting adventure.

So do me a favor, and ask yourself, what makes you happy.
